I got my start working with leather in an Amish harness making shop,” remembers Jerub. “I learned well, and the work we did was exceptional…second to none. I loved my craft, but the hours were long and my family was growing, so I knew I needed a schedule that was more family friendly. We decided to move to Tyler, Texas—there was a need in this area for a custom leather shop, and I get to spend more time with my family. I’m a one-man shop so it can be hard, but everyday I keep working—this is my passion.”

At Lil Tex, Jerub is committed to quality products and customer satisfaction.  He offers a variety of services, including several standard made products like belts and key chains, as well as repairs and custom leather work that are made to order. He’s also gaining quite a reputation for his beautiful leather holsters that fit virtually any handgun.
